Welcome to AM Exchange - Inquiry Strand for Professional Development

Inquiry: AM Exchange
(Knowing Teaching)
--New Trier Librarians

What did the French Impressionists and Z-Boys (California skateboarders) have in common? They formed ‘collaborative circles’ who met regularly to discuss their work and develop a new vision. Looking to expand your own informal learning network? Join AM Exchange to share questions, learning, and new resources. Last year, we explored projects that involved teaching with tools such as GoogleDocs, Weebly, Prezi, e-readers, Skype and many more.

This course benefits all faculty - new topics are suggested by members who actively encourage one another.

320M (in the library) September 21 We met informally to brainstorm ideas for future topics:

Reading/literacy across the curriculum - what does the research say?

Research -- how technology impacts learning?

What tools can help students with literacy/comprehension?
